Maya and Zoe Katz - Mitzvah Project

Zoe and Maya dropped off 40 packs filled with essential goodies at Salt River High School this week.

We had the opportunity to tour the school, see the facilities, and learn about the growth the school has seen thanks to the generosity of others.  

In the last few years, they've established a library, a functioning tuck shop, food supplies for learners in need and free access to counselling, to name but a few. It was a wonderful opportunity for my girls to gain some perspective and a greater understanding of how differently life can look for children of the same age.  

It was a great opportunity for them to reflect on their own circumstances with gratitude, while also recognising how meaningful even relatively small acts of giving can be.
