My Barmitzvah Mitzvah - Aaron Solin

I chose DARG for my Mitzvah project. The reason I chose this organisation is my love for animals and to honour my life-long pet Danny. I was only 11 months old when we got him from DARG and sadly he passed away last year at a good age of 18.I asked friends and family for items on the DARG wish list and managed to collect a lot of old blankets, old and unused towels, bowls, collars and leads as well as food. I also managed to collect money and donated R650 cash to DARG so that they could use the money towards their vet bills.I also spent time at DARG with my family volunteering as I was too young to handle the dogs on my own.I would like to thank everyone that has helped and supported me with this project. My aim is to continue my collections so that I can assist them with the items they need the most of.
