Sam Warner - Mitzvah Project

For my Mitzvah project I decided to help three communities by supporting their community gardens. Firstly, my good friend Riley and I went to Ocean View, to garden for a farm that produces food for the local women's shelter. I then went to Manalesie’s farm in Gugulethu with my mother and some of  her work team. The produce goes to local farmers markets and main contributors who help the farm. Lastly, I joined the Shul Mitzvah day, with a handful of volunteers. We gave trees minerals and fertiliser. The food will go the local market, not Major food companies, so the people will eat the food fresh.
