Mia Tonkil - BM Mitzvah Project

When I was 18 months old I got burned and was treated at the burns unit of Red Cross Children's Hospital. While I don't remember this, my parents have always spoken about how lucky we were to have access to this world class hospital. This hospital provides excellent care to anyone that needs it. Many of its patients are there for weeks and don't always have toys or games to play with while they are getting better. For my Mitzvah Project I am collecting gently used toys, games, stationery or financial contributions to donate to the Burns Unit. I hope that these toys will make the young patients stay in hospital a little bit easier.
