Temple Israel

Three congregations, one family.

Temple Israel is a dynamic, welcoming community committed to inclusivity in worship, Jewish education to inspire our children and adults and a friendly, caring, safe space for all its members. We manage to combine a love of the Jewish tradition while embracing modernity, finding a vital balance between connecting to the Jewish people in generations past and around the world today. We are moved by the spirit of tikkun olam, the Jewish mission of repairing the world, and committed to improving both the Jewish and general society around us.

Family fun at Lag Ba’Omer

Family and friends met on Wednesday 9th May for our annual bonfire to commemorate Lag Ba’Omer. After stories from the rabbis and songs led by our friends from Netzer the community enjoyed a supper of hot dogs and potatoes. This was followed by dessert of braaied marshmellows. Thanks to all who contributed to a wonderful evening.
